Penn & Teller, Fool Us is a competition for magic TV show that features magicians who perform tricks in front of American veteran duo Penn & Teller. The initial season was masterfully hosted by Jonathan Ross, and the 3rd season from that point on by the female host Alyson.
Each episode starts off with the introduction stating the purpose of the series. Penn & Teller come out and are seated at the center stage. They watch hopeful magicians perform their magic in front of them with an audience in the studio. After each show, Penn & Teller privately confer while the host interviews the magicians. Penn & Teller then reveal whether they are aware of the method used to perform the trick, typically using cryptic words or by noting down the procedure and presenting it privately to the magicians for confirmation, the method, in order to avoid publicly exposing the secret behind the trick.
The second season will be broadcasted October 4th, 2022.

In the TV show, Penn And Teller — Fool Us, magicians perform tricks in front of American magician-comedians Penn & Teller. If a trick is unsolved after each performance, the magician who performed the trick is awarded the Fool Us trophy and a five-star getaway in Las Vegas.
Season one was filmed on Fountain Studios in London, England (for the first time). The second season onwards has been filmed at the Penn & Teller Theater in Las Vegas. Penn Jillette and Teller have been performing as Penn & Teller since 1982.

expert illusionist Jon Finch, Penn and Teller have a friendly relationship with the magicians that perform on their show. Some acts, such as those by John Archer, were invited to join Penn Teller’s Vegas show.
In season 3, the magicians with the highest ratings who were able to fool Penn and Teller were invited to appear on a special episode Fool Us in which they each get to show their magic act one further and try to fool Penn & Teller again for a further ten thousand dollars cash prize. The performers are also invited to perform during an intermission of Penn & Teller’s live Las Vegas show, where the audience members aren’t conscious of the illusion is being staged for them.
Raymond Teller remains quiet throughout the the show, however they do communicate through subtle gestures with each other. They have been known to talk with magicians performing and request for them to repeat specific actions or provide more information.
Penn and Teller are known for their contributions to the art of magic. They have written books on deceit, created instructional videos on card technique, and performed in a magic show called Penn & Teller Fool Us.
